Product description

Stainless Steel 321 Welded Pipes are high performance welded pipes that are used in numerous industrial applications. The pipes are manufactured from 321 stainless steel grade that is a titanium stabilized chromium-nickel austenitic steel alloy. These pipes feature good tensile strength and resistance to general corrosion. The pipes are commonly used for services in the temperature range of 1000-1600 degree F. Characterized by superior high corrosion resistance in corrosive environments these exhibits excellent resistance to various oxidizing agents. However, the pipes resist oxidation at a temperature range of 1500 degree F.

It also exhibits good resistance to intergranular corrosion after the exposure to temperature in carbide precipitation. The pipes have high-stress rupture and creep properties and also possesses good low-temperature toughness. Furthermore, these pipes resist polythionic acids stress corrosion cracking in service temperature at 1500-1650 degree F.

The pipes feature good welding and forming capabilities at elevated temperatures. In addition to these have excellent mechanical properties, toughness, and hardness. The pipes are hot and cold worked. Similarly, the hot working is performed at 950 -1100 degree C followed by annealing to restore optimum corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, the cold working procedure is done with the standard cold work practices. But after the cold working, the pipes become mildly magnetic. The pipes are readily welded by all conventional methods including submerged arc methods.
