Stainless Steel 310 Seamless Tubes are designed form austenitic heat resistant alloy that includes moderate nickel and high chromium content. These tubes feature supreme ductility and weldability at high temperature circumstances. Typically these tubes are used in soaring temperatures applications. The high chromium and nickel content provides excellent resistance to corrosion at elevated temperatures. Therefore under mildly cyclic circumstances these tubes offer supreme resistance oxidation up to 2000 degree F. With excellent toughness and low magnetic permeability these tubes are often used in cryogenic temperatures up to 450 degree F. These tubes are capable to retain acidic attacks in tough climatic circumstances. The tubes are resistant to sulfidation and are generally used in moderately carburizing atmospheres. These exhibits superior hardness, durability and tensile strength. However these tubes exhibit great resistance to Intergranular, crevice and pitting corrosion.

The tubes are basically forged in the temperature range of 975-1175 degree C. After forging these are annealed to relieve all stresses that occur from the forging process. However these solutions are annealed through heating at temperature range of 1040- 1065 degree C. The cold working of these tubes are carried out by means of standard cold working process. To achieve superior weldability these tubes are readily welded through conventional welding methods.
