Manufacturing process

Pipes with different size range are manufactured through various processes. The pipe with outside diameter of 21 to 178mm is manufactured via mandrel rolling process. The pipe with diameter 140-406mm is constructed using MPM process and plug mill process. For diameter of 250-660 mm range cross roll piercing process is best.

Mandrel mill process

Our Stainless Steel 310S Seamless Pipes manufactured using this process are made via a solid round or billet. This is heated in a furnace and then a hole is made using a piercer. This basically reduces the outside diameter of pipe. The tube is further heated and reduced to get the specific dimensions. Later, it is cooled, straightened followed by a finishing process.
