It is having very good resistant ability to intergranular corrosion after getting exposed to a temperature in the chromium carbide precipitation in the temperature ranges of 427 Deg C to 816 Deg C. This alloy is resisting oxidation to 816 Deg C and is having good creep as well as stress rupture properties than other alloys. Also, it is possessing very good low-temperature toughness. Alloy 321 can’t be hardened by the process of heat treatment but the only cold working process is needed. It can be welded and processed easily through the process of standard shop fabrications.
