Super Duplex UNS S32760 Seamless Tubes are designed from a duplex stainless steel alloy that is relatively used in those circumstances where high corrosion resistance and strength is required. These alloys of tubes possess superior resistance to corrosion in a broad variety of media. In addition to it exhibits superior resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion in chloride containing and seawater environments. The presence of high molybdenum and chromium content makes the tubes exceptionally resistant to uniform corrosion by organic acids such as acetic and formic acids. In addition to it also offers good resistance to inorganic acids especially that contains chlorides. These tubes are basically ferritic-austenitic stainless steel tubes that offer a superior combination of high strength and resistance to corrosion in elevated temperatures. Furthermore, these tubes often show great resistance to stress corrosion cracking in both souring and chloride containing atmospheres. The tubes demonstrate high resistance to corrosion fatigue and erosion-corrosion and also offer excellent mechanical properties at high temperature.
