Properties of stainless steel 317l seamless pipes :
Our pipes shows desired properties which include high strength and corrosion resistant. These pipes are stronger and can withstand high pressure. Some pipes cannot bear high pressure and thus breaks or get damage slowly. They doesn’t server longer in industry thus need replacement. Our seamless pipes are high in strength thus need no replacement for years. Their strength comes from low carbon content.
Moreover they don’t show difficulty in machining which requires constant feeds and low speeds. Thus they need not to work harden. This also makes the pipes easily welded; provide tensile strength, higher creep and stress to rupture. Moreover, in annealed condition the pipes don’t show magnetic properties. However welded pipes show magnetic properties in annealing therefore they are less used.
Our stainless steel 317l seamless pipes undergo several processes before reaching to the destination. The simple raw solid round steel is turned into a pipe through simple manufacturing process. The process includes turning the steel into sheet which is rolled and made hollow. The hollow making process is done with care and during this time the thickness as per need is achieved. Various manufacturing process such as mannesmann plug mill, extrusion and mandrel process is used.
All these are standard processes to achieve pipes of desired specifications. This is the time when we make use of the data sheet provided by the engineers which cater the need of clients. After a long process of manufacturing, the pipes are polished and tested.
The testing is to detect any defect and check the desired properties of stainless steel 317l seamless pipes. We make sure that only pipes that pass the tests are delivered along with the test reports.
Lastly, the packaging is done which is again an important process for us. Mandatory standards are also followed here. The product then goes for shipments along with required documents.
