Product details

Stainless Steel 304 Welded Pipes are formed from austenitic and ferritic phases of steel alloy that includes chromium and nickel content. In addition to it, it consists of carbon and nitrogen content. The pipes possess superior strength and hardness in soaring temperatures. The balanced austenitic structure of this pipe offers excellent resistance in a wide range of atmosphere and corrosive media. In addition to these pipes demonstrate superb resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion in warm chloride environments. Furthermore, it shows stress corrosion cracking above 60 degrees C.

The pipes also feature good resistance to oxidation in intermittent services to 870 degree C and in regular services up to 925 degree, C. Due to its duplex microstructure these pipes possess superior mechanical properties. The pipe features outstanding ductility, toughness and deep drawing properties at elevated temperatures. The solution treatment of these pipes is performed at 1010-1120 degree C and rapidly cooled. The weldability of this pipe is obtained through standard fusion methods.
