Stainless Steel 347H Seamless Tubes are designed from stabilized austenitic chromium steel alloy that comprises columbium and high carbon content. In addition to it includes tantalum content that offers superior stress rupture and creep properties. The presence of columbium content stabilized the stainless steel alloy and eradicates carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. Due to stabilization, this alloy of tubes offers superior overall resistance to corrosion in tough climatic circumstances. In addition to these tubes further shows good resistance to oxidation and creep strength to 815 degrees C.

The high carbon content ensures excellent strength and creeps resistance at temperature range above 1000 degree F. These tubes offer good durability, toughness and mechanical properties in harsh climatic conditions. These are basically used in severe corrosive conditions. Furthermore, these also utilized in fluoride and chloride free caustic solutions at moderate temperatures. These alloys of tubes excellently resist polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking in hydrocarbon services.

These tubes are upset and forged; similarly, the other hot work process is being functioned at 1146 to1232 degree C. Thus these tubes are water quenched and further annealed to carry out maximum hardness. In addition to these are readily blanked, spun, drawn and stamped through which it possesses superior toughness and ductility. The annealing of these tubes is executed at a temperature range of 1010 to 1193 degree C and is quenched with water. With the most fusion and resistance methods, these tubes are excellently welded.
