Product description
Ferritic-austenitic stainless steel tubes composed of molybdenum, nickel and chromium, known
as Duplex S32205 Seamless Tubes, provide exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion.
These tubes are perfect for use in harsh conditions, such as exposure to seawater and sulfuric
acid-based chemical processing. They resist pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular
corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking up to 150°C. With a low carbon content and
fine microstructure, Duplex S32205 tubes perform well under mechanical stress and corrosive
conditions, including those with salt, sand, or high pressure. Particularly below 300°C they
retain good tensile strength, toughness, and ductility. These tubes are suitable for a variety
of demanding industrial applications because they are readily weldable using standard
techniques after being solution treated between 1020 and 1100°C and quickly cooled.
Testing of product
To guarantee dimensional accuracy, longevity and compliance to industry standards our products

without rupturing or
leaking.
• Mechanical Test: Assesses overall mechanical properties like yield
strength, elongation, and
toughness.
• Pitting Resistance Test: Determines the tube’s resistance to localized pitting
corrosion.
• Macro/Micro Test: Examines the tube's structural features under
magnification for grain size
and uniformity.
• Intergranular Corrosion Test: Checks resistance to corrosion along grain
boundaries after
sensitization.

product
To export the product from one place to another without causing any damage and rust throughout

What Is the Difference Between S31803 and S32205 Duplex Stainless Steel
Tubing?
S31803 and S32205 duplex stainless steel tubing offer a reliable balance of corrosion
resistance, strength and cost effectiveness. Despite many similarities they differ noticeably.
Because S31803 has a little more chromium, it is more resistant to pitting and corrosion in
crevices. S32205 has more molybdenum, which improves strength, particularly at temperatures
higher than 300°C. Although both grades have good impact resistance and ductility, S32205
typically has better weldability because of its lower carbon content. The specific needs of
your application or industry will determine which option is best for you.
