The alloy 317L is made from low-carbon austenitic steel. The Stainless Steel 317L Pipe Tube is made up of a high concentration of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum in its composition. The high concentration of chromium gives this grade extra corrosion resistance compared to the 316 grade.
